Community Development- What do we do?

The City's Community Development Team is part of the Family and Community Development Service unit and aims to build capacity within the Cockburn Community by working with community members, volunteers and not-for-profits. Our goals are to provide a number of services and resources to not-for-profits and to support and contribute to a community in which people feel a sense of belonging, connection and contribution.

Our team consists of:

  • Community Development Co-ordinator
  • Community Development Officer
  • Volunteer Resource Centre Co-ordinator
  • Volunteer Resource Centre Assistant
  • Community Engagement Officer

The Community Development team manages a number of portfolios, which are central to our capacity building approach. Please feel free to peruse the rest of the community development pages to view what we have to offer.
