The Dive into Volunteering Student Competition is an annual event which invites Cockburn students from School Years 1 to 12 to submit a creative piece which they feel reflects volunteering.
The Cockburn Volunteer Resource Centre initiated the project in 2009 to engage young people with the concept of volunteering and grow awareness of the invaluable contribution volunteers make to the community.
The competition aims to encourage young people to talk and think about what volunteering is and how it is vital in strengthening community life.
Well done to all participants.
