Previously known as the Youth Active Program (2011 Finalist in the Western Australian Sport & Recreation Industry Awards) for the last 7 years.
KidSport is part of the $20 million State Government initiative Sport 4 All. It is being run by the City in partnership with the Department of Sport and Recreation making it possible for Western Australian children to participate in community sport and recreation.
The program helps young people play sport by providing up to $200 for club registration and other club fees. The program is for young people aged 5-18 years old from families who live within the bounds of the City of Cockburn.
Participants can choose from a variety of sporting clubs involved in the program.
