About Burglaries

When your home or office is broken in to you may  ask what to do next. Attached in the Documents for Download section is information created by, the Western Australian Police to assist the public in dealing with the problems that arise from such a situation.

CoSafe can assist the residents of the City of Cockburn, by providing an extra presence when required. Extra patrols are subject to the operational requirements of CoSafe, and cannot be guaranteed on an everyday basis.

CoSafe cannot accept calls from the public seeking regular patrols during specified times, as this would fall under the scope of a private security company. Additional Patrols are only set-up to monitor behavior within a specified area, not for personal/asset protection. For security reasons CoSafe cannot disclose when extra patrols have been set-up or who has asked for them.

 

 

 

 Tips:

If you have had a break-in it is very important you contact the police immediately on 131 444, regardless of wheather something was stolen or not.

Avoid touching anything that may be of interest to the police such as: door knobs, items dropped by the burglars etc.

Don't clean or tidy anything up until the police have said it is ok.

Ensure you keep a copy of the police report for your own records.
