Neighbourhood Watch

Cockburn Neighbourhood Watch is working to bring people in our City closer together through promoting the value of getting to know your neighbours and being available to support each other in times of need.

This is being achieved through a strong partnership between the WA Police, The City of Cockburn and the Community, whose goal is to build an even safer, more confident, family friendly community.

Cockburn Neighbourhood Watch receives a high level of support from the City of Cockburn as the valuable contribution of the volunteers is recognised to be vital for our community's wellbeing.

The City has established a NHW office at its Administration Centre and employs a Crime Prevention Officer to support the volunteers in coordinating the many projects and programs of Cockburn Neighbourhood Watch.

The City holds monthly Neighbourhood Watch meetings with Suburb Managers

The City of Cockburn invites all Area Coordinators and Street Representatives to every second meeting, ensuring all active volunteers are involved in developing projects and programs that will benefit to the people of our City as well as support the Police in carrying out their frontline duties.

It is easy to contribute to your own and your neighbours wellbeing, just contact the City's Community Neighbourhood Watch Officer.
