Lost and Found Dogs

Information regarding lost dogs is matched up with those dogs that have been impounded by Council Rangers. So if you've lost your dog make sure you report it to the Rangers immediately.

For dogs which have been found by the general public, they can either be picked up by the ranger and impounded, or if the person wants to look after them till their owner is found, Rangers will record the information and description of the dog. Please be aware that a found dog becomes your responsability if you hold the dog.

Dogs that are lost may be viewed at the pound by appointment only, just contact Ranger Services on 9411 3444.
