About the event

A doggone good time 
Calling all doggie lovers! The Cockburn Fur Run is the doggone event of the year. Put your furry friend on a leash and head down to MacFaull Park, Spearwood to join in the activities, make new friends, and enjoy plenty of tail-wagging good times. 
 
Paw-some activities  
Enjoy heaps of free activities on the day, including:  

  • 11am Fur Run - Enjoy a 1km walk, run, or roll around picturesque MacFaull Park. All participants receive a prize
  • Midday Pooch Parade - Register on the day for your chance to win some great prizes.
  • Free vet checks with Spearwood Vets
  • Play, learn, climb and jump through obstacles on the Agile Dogs Agility Course
  • Children's entertainment including bouncy castles and face painting
  • Pooch smooch photo booth
  • Pick up some cool treats from the City of Cockburn Rangers.

Pooch Parade
Get ready to showcase your furry friends at the 2024 Pooch Parade! This parade is the perfect opportunity for you and your canine companion to strut your stuff for your chance to win some fun prizes and awards!
  • W.A.G Award – Wow Aren’t You Gorgeous
  • Hot Diggety Dawg Award – Biggest Personality
  • Wolf Whistle Award – Best Costume
  • Holy Terrier Award – Most Energetic
  • Puparazzi Award – Most Photogenic.
The parade is free to enter, register on the day at the City of Cockburn Information Tent before 11.30am to take part.
 
This little doggy went to market 
Grab a bite to eat or a coffee from food trucks and get ready to browse our doggo markets to your heart’s content, with so many gift ideas, treats and other goodies to choose from.
