Restricted Burning Time

1 October - 30 November

The City of Cockburn will enter the Restricted Burning Time from 1 October 2026. Burn permits are required during this time for burning of garden refuse.

Garden refuse piles under 1 cubic meter can be burnt after 6pm without a permit.

Properties that are not zoned rural are not permitted to burn.
