The City of Cockburn's response to The West Australian, 9 April about the death of a man at Coogee Beach -


Question: Could you please provide an account of the incident on 23 March.

Answer: The City of Cockburn is aware of the tragic death that recently occurred at Coogee Beach and we extend our deepest sympathy to the man’s family and friends.
The City is unable to comment on this matter as it is subject to a WA Police investigation being prepared for the Coroner.
The City will fully assist with this investigation where requested.
