Discovery Parks lease at Coogee Beach Caravan Park

The City of Cockburn's response to Cockburn Gazette, 12 April about lease arrangements for Coogee Beach Caravan Park -

Statement:
The City is planning that the Business Plan, Heads of Agreement and Lease will be considered at either the May or June 2021 Council meeting. The exact timing is contingent on responding to the large volume of submissions which have been received. Submitters will be advised in writing once the confirmed date is known, giving them a chance to read the recommendation to be considered by Council.

The City is not a party to the tenancy arrangements between Discovery Parks and the tenants at the Coogee Beach Holiday Park, therefore the City has no legal right to interfere.

The proposed Lease between the City and Discovery Parks will contain clauses that require the Lessee to comply with all statutes, rules, regulations and by laws that apply to the Lease such as the Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds Act 1995.
