Electric Vehicle charging station free trial

The City of Cockburn's response to PerthNow Cockburn 10 September 2021 about a free trial at an Electric Vehicle charging station

Question: How will the free-of-charge fee at Spearwood Library benefit local drivers?
Answer:
The City believes it will encourage people to invest in electric vehicles knowing that there is a free EV charging station in Spearwood. As the council resolution notes, the City will review the usage of the charging station over the next 12 months and report to Council on its success or otherwise.

Question: How many new locations will be investigated? Does the City have anything in mind?
Answer:
That is still to be determined. The City will work with both the State Government and Commonwealth Government and its agencies to maximise the distribution of EV charging stations to meet the need we know is coming.
