Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival

The City's response to PerthNow Cockburn about Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival, 16.1.25

It is acknowledged that Council endorsed the event as the Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival at the Ordinary Council Meeting in June 2024.
 
Following feedback from Elected Members we updated the initial marketing material posted as an event listing on the City’s Facebook page in mid-December, where the words Australia Day appeared after the Coogee Beach Festival event title.
 
Australia Day now appears at the beginning of the event title, in line with Council’s resolution. This updated marketing material will be used across coming weeks to promote the event.
