Safe and Found WA

The Safe and Found program helps people who might be at risk of becoming lost or reported as missing, by ensuring Police have immediate access to critical informtion in a search operation.

This program uses 'Lost Person Behaviour' - a method developed based on studies and data from search and rescue groups around the world.
It has identified that certain categories of missing persons tend to behave in a certain way if they become lost.  Completing a Lost Person Behaviour profile and connecting the information to a Safe and Found ID bracelet, has proven to reduce time and the size of the search area, providing clues to the history and habits of the missing person and potentially finding them in less time.
