Fighting graffiti in our City
The City is active in removing graffiti, which comes at an enormous cost to the community. Graffiti is a criminal offence and can result in a criminal record, fines and/or penalties.
By reporting graffiti to the State Graffiti Task Force who will arrange for the removal of the graffiti, you can help us to discourage vandals and reduce graffiti across our City.
Graffiti incidents submitted through the Goodbye Graffiti website are automatically directed to the relevant local government authority or asset owner to notify them of the incident and facilitate removal.
If graffiti incidents are reported via Crime Stoppers WA (https://www.crimestopperswa.com.au/make-report/) or by contacting the Police at 131 444, it is necessary to also make a report on the Goodbye Graffiti Website for the removal process to be initiated.
WA Police recommends that the following incidents be immediately reported to the Police by calling 131 444:
- Offences in progress
- Incidents involving offensive racial or religious graffiti or personal threats
- Graffiti incidents on properties owned by Members of Parliament (State & Commonwealth) and other notable individuals.
For all other graffiti-related incidents, members of the public are encouraged to make reports through the Goodbye Graffiti website.
How to report graffiti
Report graffiti via the State Graffiti Taskforce website.
