Important note:
If Phytophthora dieback is present on your property, please use a tip pass and take garden organics directly to Henderson Waste, and notify gate staff upon entry.
The serious environmental and agricultural pest polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB) has been detected in the City of Cockburn. Before pruning, please check your trees and plants for signs of infestation. Look for multiple holes on the trunk or branches that are approximately the size of a ballpoint pen tip, and frass (noodles) or crystalline foam (sugar volcanoes) coming from the holes.
If you suspect you have borer damage to trees, make a report to the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) through the Pest and Disease Information Service on 9368 3080, via the department’s MyPestGuide™ Reporter app or email [email protected].
For more information, visit the DPIRD website.
