There are approximately 550 bus stops in the City of Cockburn and 220 of these have bus shelters. All bus shelters are owned and maintained by the City, except "full glass" shelters along Rockingham Road, which are owned and maintained by Adshel.
The City has a bus shelter maintenance program to keep bus shelters in a safe and usable condition. These shelters are installed for the comfort of those who use the public transport system. The City has a commitment to supply safe infrastructure for its residents and visitors to support safe, comfortable and user friendly movement through the City.
To report damage or graffiti to a City-owned bus shelter, please email [email protected], or send by post to:

Make sure you include send the following details:
- Your name
- Address
- Location of bus shelter
- Details of damage.
If you notice any damage or graffiti on a ‘full glass’ shelter, you should report it to Adshel on 1800 501 402.
You can request a bus shelter in your street by writing to Council with the following details:
- Street name
- What side of the road the stop is that you are referring to, including what house number it is near
- Agreement from other neighbours (if possible).
Your request would then be investigated by the City and could be placed on the forward works program for construction.
