About the event

Kids Compost Workshop – Fun with Worms & Waste!

Join us these school holidays for a hands-on Kids Compost Workshop! Kids will discover the magic of composting, meet wiggly worms, and learn how food scraps can turn into nutrient-rich soil. Through fun activities, games, and experiments, they’ll become eco-superstars and learn how to help the planet right from their own backyard! Plus they will get to take home a mini-compost with a plant!

This workshop will be delivered by Peg from Lessen with Peg. Peg is a waste educator and composting and gardening expert with over 13 years experience working in local government, schools, and the wider community.

Spots are limited—book now and let’s get our hands dirty!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Sustainability is a key strategic value for the City of Cockburn. Our vision is to manage our waste services sustainability and lead and support a community that avoids waste generation, reduces environmental impacts and recognises waste is a valuable resource to be recovered, reused and recycled.
