What our Rangers can help with

The City's Rangers serve an important role and are on hand to assist Cockburn residents with a variety of concerns. 

Cats and dogs

Lost or found a cat/dog? Visit our Animal Pound page.

If you have a dog or cat complaint refer to our pages on Nuisance CatsBarking Dogs and Aggressive and Dangerous Dogs.

Snakes

Concerned about a snake you have seen? Don't approach the snake yourself. Move slowly away and call the Wildcare Hotline on 08 9474 9055. The the Wildcare Hotline is a 24/7 volunteer service which will provide you with advice on how to respond. If necessary, they will put you in contact with a volunteer reptile remover or a licensed pest controller.

Ranger Operational Hours

Monday-Friday: 7.30am - 6pm
Weekends and Public Holidays: 7.30am - 6pm
Christmas Day: Closed

After Hours

Incoming calls are redirected to a pager service outside of office hours.

Alternatively, contact the City's security service CoSafe on 1300 267 233 should you require assistance with illegal burning, abandoned vehicles and wandering dogs outside of Ranger's operational hours.
