Thursday 3 April:
Western Australians are about to ride into a new era of public transport, as the long-awaited Thornlie-Cockburn Link officially opens on Monday, June 9.


Wednesday 2 April:
The artwork of one of Australia’s most highly regarded contemporary visual artists, Trevor Vickers, is among a record-breaking number of artists to showcase their craft at the City of Cockburn’s 20th Show Off Art Exhibition 5-13 April.
State Cultural Treasure and Hami Hill artist, Vickers has participated in all of Show Off’s 20 exhibitions. With artworks in multiple public and private collections in Australia, he is Quintessentially Cockburn!


Tuesday 1 April:
Gisella Colletti, a talented Cockburn local who has performed at City of Cockburn community events and won our annual Cockburn’s Got Talent competition three years ago, is in the running to be crowned this year’s Australian Idol.


The ABC's 'Your Say' has revealed Australia's relationship with the US and the AUKUS agreement is a big concern for voters. 

Monday 31 March:
Senior Dockers coach Justin Longmuir said the RAC Derby 60’s win over West Coast was a look at the brand of football the Cockburn-based club wants to be consistently playing.


Friday March 28:
Inspiring husband and wife team Tammy and Brad Cuff of Cockburn cycled 700km to raise money for mental health after nearly losing a child to mental illness. They were among 150 cyclists to participate in the Hawaiian Ride for Youth 2025.
