Waste disposal is a very important part of sustainable living. Make sure you know what goes in what bin according to your two bin or a three bin system. Shop second-hand and visit the City’s Recycle Shop at the Henderson Waste Recovery Park for great pre-loved bargains.
The City has a range of environmental grants and subsidies to help you reduce your carbon footprint, including sustainability grants, worm farm and composting subsidies, and native plant subsidies.
