Cockburn's new Design Review Panel 2023-2025 members appointed

The City of Cockburn has appointed eight new members to its Design Review Panel for 2023-2025.
 
The panel members are involved in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design, and will provide input into the design quality of significant and complex development application proposals in Cockburn.
 
They will help shape and ensure the aesthetics, sustainability, character, safety, and functionality of building infrastructure throughout Cockburn for generations to come.
 
The panel’s new members include a past Victorian and WA government architect, a state manager of the Australian Institute of Architects, a DevelopmentWA design review panel member, state and national award winners, and others who worked on the Perth Arena project and the Perth City Link design review panel.
 
The panel members are: Dominic Snellgrove (Chair), Geoffrey London (Deputy Chair), Lisa Shine, David Barr, Munira Mackay, Brett Wood-Gush, Simon Venturi, and Annelise Safstrom.
 
The City advertised for new panel members in late 2022.
