About Council Meetings

The City of Cockburn holds its Ordinary Council Meetings (OCM) on the second Tuesday of each month (February to December), starting at 7pm (doors open at 6.45pm). Please note no Council Meetings are held in January. Council meetings are open to the public, live streamed and are held in the Council Chambers at the City’s Administration Building, 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood. For Public Questions and Deputations please refer to Public Questions and Deputations protocol on the City’s website. Write to the Chief Executive Officer at PO Box 1215, Bibra Lake, WA, 6955, or fill in the online form on the Public Questions and Deputations page.

The Annual Electors' Meeting (AEM) is held on or around the last Thursday in January/first Thursday of February every year, commencing at 7pm, and is also open to the public.

Audit Risk and Compliance Meetings (ARC) are held on the third Tuesday of March, May, July and September, and in November or December each year, and are open to the public. They are held in Council Chambers at the City’s Administration Building. ARC meetings commence at 6pm (doors open at 5.45pm).

Special Council Meetings

Special Council Meetings are held on an as-required basis throughout the year in response to issues as they arise.

Agendas and Minutes are available for the public to view electronically at the City's administration building or the Coolbellup, Spearwood and Success Libraries. They are also available to view and download on the View All Agendas and Minutes page.
