The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is seeking public comment on HMAS Stirling upgrades.
From 22 November 2024, changes to several dog exercise areas will apply. Read more.
Please refer to the costs listed below.
All dogs over three months old must be registered and microchipped under the Dog Act 1976. Sterilisation is not mandatory, however it is recommended. Contact your vet for information about the benefits of sterilising your dog. All dogs must remain registered for the reminder of their life. All dog registrations must be renewed before the 1 November each year, on the year that they expire. A Renewal Form will be posted to you before the registration expires. The City sends texts and/or email reminders as a courtesy at the end of the renewal period, however it is the dogs owner's responsibility to ensure the registration remains up to date at all times.
If your dog is registered and has recently been sterilised, please send a copy of the sterilisation certificate to [email protected] or complete a Change of Animal Status Form. Please ensure the certificate has been signed by a vet. Procedure invoices and microchip certificates cannot be accepted as proof of sterilisation.
Cost for UNSTERILISED dog ($)
Dog owners may be eligible for a partial refund for the cost of registering their dog. If you have sterilised your dog after you paid the registration fee, you may be entitled to a refund of a portion of the registration fee. A completed Refund Application Form must be submitted to be considered for a refund.
