About the Jandakot Airport Master Plan

The Jandakot Airport Master Plan is a statutory requirement under the Airports Act 1996. It is a 20 year document that is updated every five years by Jandakot Airport Holdings. The Master Plan was last prepared in 2020 and contains a mix of aviation and non-aviation developments, a ground transport plan and an environment strategy.
About the Jandakot Airport Master Plan
The Jandakot Airport Master Plan outlines the strategic direction for the efficient and economic development of Australia’s busiest general aviation airport. A Master Plan is prepared every five years by Jandakot Airport Holdings under the Airports Act 1996. The most recent Master Plan is from 2020.
Master Plan 2020 retains the principle concepts of Master Plan 2014 including the provision of the fourth runway and associated taxiways, land use areas, mixed business land use areas and the general access management
The 2020 Jandakot Airport Master Plan consists of:
119 hectares of conservation (19% of total land)
257 hectares of aviation operations (including runways and taxiways (42% of total land)
201 hectares of Non-Aviation Development comprising Mixed Business type land uses (32% of total land)
45 hectares of existing and proposed internal roads and services (7% of total land).
