Do you have an idea for a project, activity or event that could benefit the Cockburn community? Let us help you to make it a reality.  Through the Cockburn Community Fund, the City offers over $1 million in funding to local groups, organisations and individuals every year – in amounts ranging from hundreds of dollars to tens of thousands. 

A range of grants, donations and sponsorships are available, including:
 

  • Community Grants – for projects, programs and activities that benefit our community 
  • Donations – to cover operating costs for organisations that assist vulnerable people in Cockburn 
  • Group and Individual Sponsorships – a contribution to a significant event or activity (Individual Sponsorship all year round) 
  • Cultural Grants – for artistic or cultural events, workshops, projects and residencies 
  • Youth Art Scholarships – For individuals aged 18 or younger who have been given the opportunity to study or perform within the arts arena interstate, overseas or outside the Perth metropolitan area. 
  • Environmental Education in Schools – For primary and secondary schools, and home school groups (collective of 5 families or more) within the City of Cockburn to engage sustainability and environmental educators to deliver activities, presentations or programs either at school as in-class sessions or off the school grounds as part of an excursion. (Once a year only in March round) 
  • Small Events Sponsorships – for small-scale neighbourhood events (all year round) 
  • Sustainability Grants – for small businesses, schools, not-for-profits, and collective households, for projects relating to six sustainability themes (all year round)
