About the event
The hugely popular Side Splitter Comedy festival returns for its ninth massive year of laughter at the iconic Memorial Hall, over two weekends, 4 and 5 October and 11 and 12 October.
Presented by the City of Cockburn and produced by WA Comedy, the 2024 program features a whopping 16 events, including a variety of side-splitting comedy gala’s, showcases, and solo shows that are guaranteed to leave you in stitches.

Lehmo Live
As seen on TV's The Project, Utopia and Before the Game, Lehmo is one of Australia’s most experienced and well-travelled comedians. Lehmo’s live work has seen him headline at comedy clubs for well over fifteen years and work all corners of the globe – USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Dilruk Jayasinha - Live
Dilruk is renowned as one of the most electrifying stand-up comedians in the country. His comedy is a delightful blend of charm, energy, and uproarious humour that guarantees a night full of laughter. This is an hour of entertainment you won’t want to miss.
Dilruk Jayasinha has filmed a stand-up special for Amazon Prime, appeared on Utopia, Celebrity MasterChef Australia and Have You Been Paying Attention? Dilruk’s stand-up style is charming, up-beat and damn funny.
