About the event

Do you ever get confused by what goes in what bin? How does recycling really work in Western Australia and what happens to our waste?

Have your bins been tagged with a smiley face as part of the City's WasteSorted Bin Tagging program?

Join the City of Cockburn’s Waste Educator to have all your waste questions answered and myths busted!

This information session give you the opportunity to meet with your local waste education team and learn about waste management and how we can reduce the quantity of waste we send to landfill.

AND... to celebrate World Clean Up Day, volunteer with us to do a clean up of the area around Radiata Park. All clean up equipment will be available and there will be prizes for participants.

Sustainability is a key strategic value for the City of Cockburn. Our vision is to manage our waste services sustainability and lead and support a community that avoids waste generation, reduces environmental impacts and recognises waste is a valuable resource to be recovered, reused and recycled.
