About the event

Do you ever get confused by what goes in what bin? How does recycling really work in WA and what happens to our waste? Do you want to reduce waste going to landfill but don’t know where to start?

Join the City of Cockburn’s Waste Educator to have all your waste questions answered and myths busted!

This information session gives you the opportunity to meet with your local waste education team, learn about waste management and how we can all take steps to reduce the quantity of waste we send to landfill. This session will also focus of textile waste and how we can divert textile waste from landfill. 

Sustainability is a key strategic value for the City of Cockburn. Our vision is to manage our waste services sustainability and lead and support a community that avoids waste generation, reduces environmental impacts and recognises waste is a valuable resource to be recovered, reused and recycled.
