About the event

Are you keen to avoid and reduce plastic waste at home but don’t know where to start?

Join our waste education team for an interactive workshop to learn more about plastic waste management and how we can start reducing plastic in our home.

During this workshop we will chat about waste and plastic, the difference between all types of plastics and why some are more "recyclable" and more "recycled" than others. Then we teach you how to make your very own beeswax wraps - so you can remove plastic gladwrap films from your shopping list (and from your bins)!

Join us on Thursday 18 July 2024 at Cockburn’s Senior’s Centre.

Place are limited, so book your attendance. We look forward to seeing you there!
