About the event

Snakes are a natural part of living in Australia and as the weather starts to warm up, they will be on the move in search of food, water and warmth.

Come join the experts at WA Wildlife for a 90 minute workshop to learn about our local snakes:
  • Their habitats and behaviour
  • What to do if you see a snake
  • Snake bite first aid; the DOS and DONTS.
Plus, you will even get to enjoy a meet and greet with some of our friendly resident pythons!

Biodiversity Month

September is National Biodiversity Month across Australia—a time to celebrate the amazing variety of plants, animals, and ecosystems that keep our environment healthy! Join us for a fun-filled month of activities, including guided wildflower walks, wildlife encounters at our local libraries, and hands-on community workshops. It's a fantastic way to connect with nature and learn how you can help protect our incredible local biodiversity.

Find out more about Biodiversity Month in Cockburn and join the celebration!
