Disposition of Property - Section 3.58 of Local Government Act 1995

The City of Cockburn is considering a lease disposal of sites to multiple lessee’s at 1136 Cockburn Road, Henderson on the following conditions.

Term: five years, with a five year option of a further term.

Rent fee: $2,900 per annum, plus Demolition Levy: $200

Rent reviews: stepped increases to $3,100 and $3,250 for years two and three, followed by annual Consumer Price Index increases.

The grant of the lease is subject to and conditional on the City satisfying all the requirements of section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995 and, all necessary approvals being obtained under relevant legislation for the grant of the Lease/Licence.
