Special Electors' Meeting - 5pm, Thursday 19 December 2024

Purpose of Meeting

Discussion of Motions to be raised and voted on by Electors regarding Council’s resolution to support AUKUS and the benefits it brings to Cockburn.
 
Any proposed motions are to be provided by 12 noon on Thursday 19 December 2024 via the City of Cockburn website. Complete the form below.

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers located at 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood and is open to the public.
 
Attendees are required to register online or upon arrival at the meeting.

Participation at the meeting is open to verified electors and ratepayers of the District.

Attendees who register in advance will be verified prior to the meeting wherever possible
 
The procedures for the meeting will be included in the meeting Agenda, which will be available for viewing on the agenda and minutes page prior to the meeting. A live stream link will be made available closer to the date.

About Council Meetings

The City of Cockburn holds its Ordinary Council Meetings (OCM) on the second Tuesday of each month, starting at 7pm (doors open at 6.45pm). Council meetings are open to the public, live streamed and are held in the Council Chambers at the City’s Administration Building, 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood. For Public Questions and Deputations please refer to Public Questions and Deputations protocol on the City’s website. Write to the Chief Executive Officer at PO Box 1215, Bibra Lake, WA, 6955, or fill in the online form on the Public Questions and Deputations page.

The Annual Electors' Meeting (AEM) is held on the first Thursday in February every year, commencing at 7pm, and is also open to the public.

Audit Risk and Compliance Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of March, May, July and September, and November or December, and are open to the public. They are held in Council Chambers at the City’s Administration Building. Doors open 15 minutes prior to commencement of meeting.
