The Cockburn Volunteer Resource Centre (CVRC) strengthens volunteering in Cockburn by connecting, supporting, and recognising both volunteers and volunteer organisations. The CVRC supports local P&Cs and P&Fs in achieving their committee goals and activities.

CVRC staff can support all aspects of engaging volunteers, from recruiting committee members, canteen helpers, and event volunteers, to managing, retaining, and recognising them. We can help build your volunteer capacity, from identifying potential roles to advertising for volunteers. The best way to retain volunteers is to show appreciation for the ones you have. The CVRC can assist with appreciation ideas, such as our Cockburn Volunteer Discount Card, or sharing your volunteer stories with the local community.
